But today was a bad day.

After a nice Saturday with Sharon and Sam, including a gift exchange, we were surprised when Sharon called us and said she'd left a bag at a drug store.

So this afternoon we went down there, picked them up, took them to the store, and got the bag, and then Sharon said she needed to go to a local mall. I assumed it was some last minute shopping but when we got there she asked how long she and Sam could take in the mall, and feeling slightly boxed in, I said they could have an hour, and mom said they could have an hour and a half.

Near the end of the time limit, Sam called and said they were in a lineup, and I told them to just come when they could. They did get back before the time limit ran out, and Sharon actually bitched about the fact they had come back early.

I'm trying really hard to remember grace towards her at the moment.

Bad day

Today my house mate had a flat tire, then we backed up into a post. I made a bologna sandwich in dim light and didn't notice how moldy the bread was. (Yuch. It tasted SO bad.)

On the plus side. I got a booster shot scheduled today. So today wasn't that bad.

"Just ask the dinosaurs..."

Sorry re: bad day. Have some tea, grab some of my hugs as needed out "out of the ether"...

Often, when having a bad day, I remember: "Just ask the dinosaurs." 66 Mya, they had a Very Bad Day that ended all their Days.

Except birds - they're the only dinos who survived that Big Rock, and the collateral damage. One researcher said "The sky turned into a toaster oven".

Not to belittle your Bad Day. But it can always be worse. And of course, I hope you do avoid "worse" than this day you told us about.
