I am a bit surprised that there have been no comments on my recent story "Lucy".
I rushed a bit to publish this because when I was looking for images I discovered that there was that YouTube video and reference to the TV short, neither of which I knew about when I wrote this. I had assumed that this was a largely a forgotten piece of American history that had been excluded for inappropriate content ... but it is a great story. I hope that the TV item will be a dramatization of her speech to the court of which I have included a fragment.
This is just a fragment in itself. It is one I wrote for my coming anthology of stories based on historical characters to appear on Amazon in the New Year.

But not one about the content of Lucy and other work.
Posting two solo stories on the same day is IMHO not the best way of attracting both kudos and comments.
Spreading out postings is again IMHO, the way to go.

On the other hand, I very rarely make comments. I think I’ve made less than 10 in the many years (10+) that I’ve been on here.
On the other hand, I look forward to your stories. You are one of but a handful of authors that I know that I will enjoy reading, without even looking at the title.
