Well, I saw the neurologist today.
Good news - he tested me, and I'm at the low end of normal.
Better news - He believes my sleep apnea is a major factor in my memory issues, and said he will send a letter to Alberta disability support to get on their horse and get me a Bipap machine.
so there you go.

good news
That sounds like excellent news I hope it helps to relieve some of your worries. I hope you can get the machine quickly and that it is effective.
Good luck

Hoping the BIPAP works.
My former Wife has sleep apnea, as do I.
I used to tease her, that she was the "Zombesi Ambassador" in the mornings. (Where to Zombies come from? Zombesia)
Her very first morning on a CPAP machine, she was not the walking dead for half an hour. I got a good nights sleep as well, not worrying over and over again when I should nudge her.
There was a "sleeper" in all of this. Her acid reflux maybe 95% 'went away', so quietly that it took a week for me to notice. She no longer had to spend most nights sleeping in a recliner.
Stick with it. I think it's gonna help you a lot.
