So the VA Caregiver seems anxious to get me on Psych Drugs again. It is chilling. They talk about Borderline Personality Disorder. They have grown so condemning and intransigent that I use a private provider when I can. My private Psychological Nurse Practitioner seems more up to date and we've developed the idea that whatever personality problems I have come from Childhood abuse. The VA is very concerned that I not own a gun, and that is confusing since I have no history of violence, and was Military Police in the Army. If I had a broken arm, I would take that to the VA. Any illness that is more subtle would need a real doctor. The VA is very veiled about their treatment of T folk and it seems like their thinking is that being TG is an illness. Civilian Caregivers seem much more attentive.
I'm not depressed. Covid 19 has been very hard for all of us.

You sound sane enough to me....but then who am I to judge? Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Grandfather's experiences

We were so grateful that the VA was there for my grandfather as he got older. There is no way we could have afforded the treatments he needed for various things as he aged at all! With him though we very much discovered that not every VA facility was made equally. The hospital he was closest to was fantastic! One time he had an emergent infection that they couldn't figure out anything on and transferred him to another. That hospital was the total opposite, and it took our family lots of complaining to get him moved to another eight hundred miles away...

I would expect there to be some bias against Transgender issues there just because that seems to be the common state of affairs right now. (Totally disappointing - I had hoped that at least that wouldn't get worse...) Makes sense that given the back and forth orders on TG can or can't serve, and that you would run into that in a place like that. I hope you are able to get the treatment you need from the private provider. You shouldn't have to though.

It's not just you

To be fair, they try to convince all past military personnel to get rid of their guns. Mainly because they know how to use them. They tried to take them from both of my grandparents as they got older. Then my uncle, and now they're trying to convince my dad. All of them were in the military. One of them was a POW and never had a crazy day in his life. So yeah... you're not alone there.

WHAT? You don't have a gun?

You need to fill a form to dissuade your American citizenship. Then find a country that prohibits gun ownership and apply for citizenship there! Russia is a good choice ;-) It is a normal here if you have no veapon (apart from cook knife or frying pan. You can legally own both here...).

My Opinion

While the Jews lost 6 million people, Russia lost 26 million. They have a relatively small population, 149 million, I think. I'm not worried about them attacking the USA, and I think that their National Anthem is perhaps the most beautiful song. The West, is fond of propaganda, but they accuse Russia.
I well know how to use a gun or a rifle, but have no wish to use one on anyone. Russians are Orthodox Christians though I do not know how many practice. Christianity in America is shameful, a joke.
These days I study privately and consider myself an Abrahamic Religion.
