Given the industry critique of the study and the small volume of subjects this cannot be the end. A larger study with protocol changes addressing the criticism needs be done.

All the subjects in this study need long term follow up. Health problems need to be identified as these kids grow and age. Cancer and infertility as well as gender variance especially.

After a couple study protocol revisions the “Phillip Morris” effect needs to be considered too (tobacco industry denial of smoking addiction and health effects that were identified in the 1930’s).

and ignores other aspects of environmental exposure to oestrogen or oestrogen-like substances such as the contraceptive pill and detergents which are known to have a feminising effect. It has recently been shown that rivers in the UK have significant amounts of Fluoxetine (Prozac) which is affecting aquatic life, especially fish. There is probably a greater number of people on the contraceptive pill than Prozac, so we're exposed to these substances all the time.
