Through the recommendations by the YouTube algorithm I “stumbled” upon another self-help resource that can help me with my mental health challenges. And I want to share that resource with the rest of our community here, since so many have expressed their personal struggle with mental health challenges.
This is the video that was the introduction: Behavioral Activation- How to Get Motivated to Do Stuff that You Don't Want to Do. Anxiety Course 30. If you want to know what “practicing vanilla” has to do with mental health, you will just have to watch this video to hear that inspirational side story.
The YouTube channel Therapy in a Nutshell is hosted by licensed therapist Emma McAdam from Utah (USA), who also hosts the website Therapy in a Nutshell.
A big part of the resources she provides seem to be focused on anxiety. But then again, anxiety seems to be almost intimately linked with so many other mental health issues and/or challenges, either as a symptom or as a result and maybe some times even as a cause.
