Hello out there,
How is everyone doing on this lovely morning? I'm doing pretty okay today, yesterday was pretty trash but I'm feeling a lot better today. Depression blows.
I want to share a small story about myself today.
I used to stream on twitch.tv. I streamed every day for two years and really enjoyed it. I got to meet so many great people who only wanted to see me succeed. It was a really great feeling, especially since I'm trans. I didn't reveal I was trans to people and the one time I had my camera up someone berated me and then left. They called me fat and ugly and then I got an email telling me that I'm not "fooling anyone" and that they know that I'm trans. I of course directed them to my youtube channel where I am very much open about being trans.
I stopped using my camera that day.
Anyways while I was streaming I did more than just play games. I used to experiment with different types of art and writing as well. While I was writing is when I got the best reception. I suppose because I was writing about AI and a sort of full dive Virtual reality is probably why people on a gaming website liked it so much.
I wonder though if they would be receptive toward a trans story?
I don't know to be honest heck I don't even know if I would be willing to use the same account to stream.
What I do know is that I'm willing to experiment. I made a separate account on twitch a while back which mirrored the name I used for YouTube. MsReclusivity. Making this account actually took some work. It wasn't as easy as just signing up for the account. The name wasn't available. The funny part is that no one was using it either. So I had to actually contact twitch, tell them that I was interested in swapping from youtube and they released the name to me. So much work just for an account name.
Anyways is anyone here interested in watching a streamer write? I don't only have trans stories in my repertoire in fact my Rairy and Adrian stories are the only trans stories I've ever written. Well, technically there's a story I started called "Humbolt" where a trans girl is like part of the black market for marijuana but that is like less than a page long.
Sorry about rambling but today just feels like a rambling type of day for me.
Thanks for reading,
Katherine

watching a writer at work
I wouldn't think that there would be much to see unless the screen with the story in progress is visible. Even so there might be some interest. I know that Harlan Ellison wrote in the window of a bookstore an a couple of occasions and people did watch at least part of the time. If you promise something of the quality of I have no Mouth and I must scream or A boy and his dog I'll watch just for the result.
