And if we ignore the news, its a good one here with warm sunny weather that reminds me of Easters of yore!

Of course they weren't all like this, plenty were cold wet and miserable but somehow you don't recall those the same.

Anyhow, today I've posted the penultimate chapter of Summery for your delectation and delight. Re Friended brings the Angels back together for a brief interlude.

The final instalment will be posted on Wednesday, before I head to 'furren' parts for a few days.

In other news:-

• the warm weather arrived nicely on Thursday which encouraged me to go a bit further on my ride than planned - 180+km - oops
• and then a short ride last night ended up being over 90km, only curtailed further by approaching darkness! so much for pre Spreewald wind down
• i'm pretty much all set for the trip now, checked in, main accomodation paid for so tomorrow is set aside for prepping the bike and packing

Further ahead, I mentioned about a 'Gabycon' this summer in Dorset, well i'm thinking of making it the weekend of July 20/21 to coincide with the Jurassic Wheels Sportives based in Weymouth. Those that are feeling a bit sporty can then take part in one of the rides and the less sporty can spectate! i'd expect to have the usual array of features, readings, maybe some sight seeing and certainly some eating! let me know what you think or if you'd like to participate.
