This appeared in the comments for her story published last week I think it got pushed off the front page by new comments before many people saw it.
Sadly I must report that the Adventures of Alexa and Jenny have come to an end.

Passed away unexpectedly last week. A heart attack. She will be missed greatly!

That's... I mean... I loved her Alexa story and always squeed with joy at a new posting... was a very special, close to my heart kinda story... wow. Makes for a very sad day which does not even begin to properly describe the feels...

Almost unbelievable...
She's the first person who I had ever interacted with online who passed away. She was a great person who put a lot of thought and effort into her story and who embodied the characters to the point that you could see through her eyes. I might have disliked how intertwined she may have made her story with DebbieV's stories but she knew just how to make it work for her as a whole. It'll be tough not seeing new Alexa shorts but she gave us a lot.
RIP Kris. Your work will live on forever.

I always read her new postings,
so I really will miss them, although she was not quite my number one favorite. It is always sad when someone you think you know well enough to have formed a mental image, is no longer around.

I met the wonderful Kris Traverse because I once posted a story on BC. I left for reasons of my own, but my friendship with Kris endured. I'm posting this simply because I want anyone who might read it to know how lovely Kris was and I want to recommend her beautiful story of love and acceptance. I was the first to be told of her death.
