Okay so this is getting ridiculous.
Last night I again dreamed of being an actress, this time with a guest role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a mystic healer who also worked as a nurse at Sunnydale hospital and helped Buffy and the gang, and then had to treat Spike who had been hurt during a battle.

I miss the freewheeling zaniness of that show
The chances it took. I like AGENTS OF SHIELD okay, but Joss Whedon is creating in somebody else's universe + has to keep true to the Marvel Comics world, can't get too silly...
His imagination really shined in shows like BUFFY and FIREFLY.

Agents of SHIELD is his brother's baby, he has had little direct control over it. He's a producer but not the total control person he was in the other shows.

My dreams, if they're not about facing hoards of crocodiles and giant cobras, involve typically finding myself back in some combo of HS, JHS/MS, ES, and some other level of school -- and realizing I've completely blown off a class, or am persistently unable to finish or get to something with a critical deadline, or something else. Anxiety dreams. Trying to shout out to someone who just happens to be looking in the wrong direction, and having my sound caught in my throat. Trying to look through a keyhole, and having my eye unable to open properly, etc.
Once, I dreamed about being atop a half-mlle-high platform, 10ft-square, in the middle of a storm, with a 5yo kid. I had to get not only myself, but him as well, down the ladder.
I have on occasion inserted nightmares in my stories, as some readers might recall.
