So firstly, sorry for failing to post today, other stuff got in the way. What? Well a trip out to a Steam Fair - a lot of traction engines, fairground steamers, vintage trucks, cars and tractors all come together at Helmsley in North Yorkshire.

So it was photography rather than interweb out in the glorious weather we are still 'enjoying' in these parts.

More Gaby is getting wrote although I must admit writing in the heat is not coming easily, the old brain cells are just boiling up! In theory tomorrow is devoted entirely to writing, with luck and a decent cooling breeze i'll get a couple of chapters completed.

My other issue at the moment is a flood of half formed story outlines confusing my noggin. They just keep getting in the way of writing real stuff, a distraction rather than positive. Weird how the ol' grey matter works eh?
