Update...
For me Hydrocodone its side effect of constipation has had me to a doc for pain management. The long term pain is among some of the most intense pain I have ever felt, On a scale of 1-10 it was a firm 10. After a month I have shaken the side effects. Been to a physical therapist. the surgery that had me taking painkillers( I had a supra pubic tube installed)Looks like a borg implant in my tummy.

I hope you are quite settled into your routine and are able to function properly and comfortably. I have experienced something on a much smaller scale that a lot of patience and a daily medication have allowed me to have most of my life back.
I find the hardest part is the patience to allow everything to work properly.
I'm not quite mature enough to deal with it all and sometimes feel angry.
But, it's not about me.
I am glad to hear you are able to deal with the pain. That's a big step.
