Spent some time today working on “I’m on the Outside” and had to consult the original book due to some the scenes overlapping. This book tells the story from Matt’s perspective, showing all of the details Jennifer does not know about and filling in the gaps about what happened to the four guys during the two year gap.

When I wrote the original, Matt, Ty, Damon and Chris were written as an homage to the characters from “A Clockwork Orange” (Alex, Peter, Georgie and Dim), with the opening title sequence music of Clockwork Orange in mind they were introduced; hence, Jennifer referred to them as “Matt and his droogs”. I removed the references in editing but brought them back in this version in a subtle way.

I apologize for continuously adding the first chapter; I admit I get inpatient so I post thing.

The storyline now shows the other side of the sidewalk tripping scene in the first book, from a different perspective,
