Footsteps in the Sea Vol. 4 has just been posted on Amazon Kindle.
Well I think it has, they did send me the usual acknowledgement but between Firefox and their super slow new fast system and Amazon Kindle's new something or the other, I'm not sure.
Being the eternal optimist, I remain fairly confident it will be up either later today or more probably sometime tomorrow.
When I checked my Author Page I did notice I had omitted the Vol 4 on the front page and will fix that once it's up and running but to assist you find it meanwhile, it's the book with the slanted text over a portrait of a mermaid and is darkish in tone.
I am not posting my usual teaser pages on the new story site here until I know everthing is okay.
.
I did consider suicide during the four hours I was working on the posting but when I found a suitably tall building to jump off, I tripped and fell off - I can't even get that right.
Have a pleasant day, everybody except the girl who is responsible for sending that Lake Michigan weather over to London yesterday.
Before I go; the new volume is 106,000 words, about 600 pages long, the longest in the series by quite a large percentage and second only to The Longbowman of Kuwait a non TG story on my bookshelf, that's why it's taken so long.
Next project is to complete the series of short stories that I have sampled here, then get Vol 5 of Vesta's Hearth finished and finally start Vol. 5 of Footrprints. Think I'll come out of retirement and go back to driving my sherbet around the streets of London it's easier. Come to think of it, I can't remember where I parked that either! Is that me having a senior moment?
