M.Y.T.H. stands for Magical Youth Training House. The school would be in the north-west part of Montana - so near forest, but with farmland near too.

Cold in the winter, but the school probably has magic to keep the worst of the weather at bay.

Closest big name attraction would be Yellowstone park.

Dorms are single-occupancy rooms that share some common areas in groups of 4, and then larger common areas where more students can gather. so mixing of genders can happen. Grades mostly stick together during school hours, but can mix after hours, and your next-door neighbor for dorms could be any grade.

Many students live at the school during term, but there is a magic school bus for kids who want to live at home.
