Floods
This is felt to be the strongest El Nino ever recorded. For Dec 24, it was the same temperature as on July 4 here in Boston.
I hope this weather pattern reverts to more normal.

UK flooding
The main reasons why we are experiencing so much flooding are;
1. A lot of building over the past 30 years has been because they are allowing companies to build of " Flood Plains" you know the areas that are already subject to intense flooding.
2. The PM at the time Tony B Liar sold off our dredgers as he believed that we didn't need the Rivers dredging or Estuary mouths
3. When we high rainfall over area like the Pennines they have a tendency to close all the tidal barriers, trapping the water instead of letting flow to the sea.
4. Tony B Liar turned the River and Waterways Authority into a Charity so they get very little if any Government
That's how stupid the Politicians are, our Labour Politicians are stupider than the US Democrats
