I would so agree. I wish that I could even find church that was Christian. 99.9% of them would be be spit out by Christ.

just my opinion
just my opinion and it counts for nothing, but I don't think Jesus ever gave a sermon. Personally I think he simply stopped to talk to one person and people passing by got curious and stopped to listen, and another stopped, and another stopped. I doubt he ever thought so highly of himself to actually give a sermon. Just a thought....

It's not about preaching or proselytizing - it's about listening, and it's about living your convictions.
Funny, but I don't recall anywhere in the bible reading the writings of Jesus, much less of Jehovah, or God, or any of the 10,000 names we use.
What I do recall is that the bible is a compilation of writings by a group of men who profess to be speaking for God - or who profess to be repeating the teachings of Jesus. It isn't even close to being in the original form either. The current bible has been edited and changed so many times by different groups of prejudiced old men that we truly have no idea what the original writings looked like.
Having said that, it seems to me that Jesus simply traveled around the countryside talking to people, and by living the life his convictions dictated, he served as an example for others. An example that shone so brightly that others called him "Teacher" and tried to follow in his footsteps.
