It won't stop the hatred, nor change the minds of those who refuse to accept the truth. Maybe a few who were on the fence unable to decide if there really is a girl trapped inside that boy body or vice versa can accept. She pushed all the boundaries to try and be the male everyone wanted. It is what a lot of those trapped do. They excel at proving to themselves and the world they are the man, or woman everyone wants them to be. They give up their own dreams, happiness, to please everyone else. Gung Ho military, marriage, kids, whatever it takes to be the visual shell expected of them.

Many never escape that shell family and society has designed for males or females. I pray God has an extra reward for all who toughed it out. For all who changed and showed the world their true self. And for all those who are trapped, miserable, and yet haven't a clue why.
