Predestination is an Australian movie released in 2014, starring Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. It's based on the Robert Heinlein short story 'All You Zombies'.
The film received critical acclaim for Snook's outstanding portrayal of a character who at first appears to be a woman transitioning to male, but her story is much, much stranger than that.
Although the version here isn't of the very highest quality, it's certainly watchable.

Great actress,
She switched rolls and it was believable. What makeup can't do a great actress can and that is change demeanor and voice to fit the role.
From a personal point of view I put the story line in the same category as Alfred Hitchcock style which I hated. There wasn't a single movie that gentleman made I liked. Not one. Predestination fit that same niche. It was a dark movie told darkly with no viable end because everyone could keep jumping time. Are we left with the feeling we watched "Groundhog Day" all over again?
Sometimes stories are better left in the book and to the reader's own imagination rather than trying to transport the tale to a movie. The acting gets an A plus. The script an F
