Labyrinth had its moments, but for me nothing can beat the 'waltzing dress' scene from Ridley Scott's Legend.
It is sheer cinematic perfection.
What a pity that the rest of the movie was such unadulterated garbage.
According to You Tube the score on this clip (composed by Jerry Goldsmith) was only on the version released in Europe. Tangerine Dream performed the music for the US version. Having watched both, I think Goldsmith's score is far, far superior.
(Anyone who remembers the hideous kuzkardesh gara from 'The House In The Hollow', this is where they came from)

I always loved the dress at the ball in Labyrinth. Never could fit into it though. :)

I remember having to walk away...
During the scene after that when I first saw the movie when younger... It was just destroying me knowing I could never have the things she so took for granted like that.
I'm "too old" now and totally missed out on what should have been my girliest years.
