Well, things have managed to get worse for Sharon. She fell a while back, but yesterday she ended up finding out she had herniated a disk in her back during the fall. And since she is still recovering from surgery, it means her schedule for going back to work has been pushed back.
I just hope she doesn't take out her frustrations on Samantha ...

Why would she take her frustrations out on your daughter? Is she known for doing this in the past? I pray for your ex and her health both mental and physical. If it's going to get bad for your daughter, perhaps she can move in with you until your ex gets better.

Maybe you could offer to help
Maybe you could offer to help her out? I mean if you're still in the same area and all, and you're not disabled yourself. You do share a child -or more maybe- and that will mean you and her will always have something in common.
I don't know about bad blood between you two, it could be she hates your guts. Still. It would mean that you could keep an eye on things. Maybe even start a little mending process, and you would feel better about yourself.
