Monday, Sep 3, 2007 set a traffic record at BigCloset, well over 4300 visitors in 24 hours, more than 5% over the previous record set in July and nearly equaled in August of just under 4100. In fact, the average daily traffic for the last week is 3999, the highest weekly average ever also. :)
Submissions are also up and comments and sales through Doppler Press and activity on the ads at BC, it's all good. :)
I've raised the donation/subscription/sales goal for September to $600 because I'm going to spend $100 this month on advertising the site through Google. The ad campaign actually started a week ago, bringing 40 to 50 new visitors a day to BC. The $50 tithe for July went to Ellen Hayes for her continuing work on Tuck and the $50 for August went to Kim and Piper at Storysite who have a special need in the month of September. In fact, I'll probably send them the September $60 tithe, too, and early.

I hope our record hits continue to increase and we can maintain and possibly increase the quality of this site to meet and exceed our authors and readers expectations. Its hard work, but the proof is in the pudding - or on the front page so to speak. BigCloset will continue to be the premier TG/Gay/Lesbian/CD fiction website on the internet as we keep pouring our hard work and love for our home into it.

How would one see it? Which search parameters?

BC's google ad
Transgender, crossdressing, transexual, crossdresser, transvestite, tg fiction, tg stories, feminization and fictionmania are the search parameters where BC's ad shows up. I also had storysite but Google decided they wanted 40 cents a hit for ads there. Most of the others cost 5 to 10 cents a hit, so for $4 I get about 45 to 51 hits.

I'm curious as to how these six year old numbers compare to this week's visit count. Other than the 29,000,000+ count at the bottom of the page, is there any other way for the average reader to see this data?
