When I first began my transition, I was told I could not get SRS because I was obese.
At 350 lbs, I didn't really have an argument against that.
Well, I weighed myself today, and I am now 285 lbs.
And it doesn't matter a whit, as I have several other health issues that mean I can't get SRS even if I could continue to lose weight until I am officially not obese.
I don't know if I should laugh, cry, or just appreciate the irony.

To the BMI, at 85kg I’m classed as obese! The numbers are skewed a bit as it doesn’t account for muscle mass, my legs are hugely muscled from half a century of riding bikes!
Congratulations on losing what you have, the more you lose, the better your health will become. Weight and the bulk that goes with it can affect so much of our health, mobility, breathing, heart function and side effects like heart issues, depression, diabetes, life expectancy ,hormones and so on. So don’t give up, it’s a long journey but a worthwhile one.
