Another boring article on Trans folk in sports.

I'm so old that I almost do not care except to say, it all depends. We all have our own opinions. For me, being MtF, I'd say the loss of Testosterone and addition of Estrogen pretty much levels the field. In the pre-pubescent when it is done, I'd say there is probably very little difference at all.

A nuanced take!
Yes, if it makes critics feel better, set some really long time horizons and/or very young ages such that any physiological advantages basically just disappear into the dust.
We have ex-Navy Seals in our community who have fully transitioned, test them to see how much weaker they are not compared to the general female.
Even among the cisgendered females if one were to compete one typical woman from one population against another typical woman from another population e.g. a Nordic female against say a Southern Chinese female, then how fair would that be.
After 38 years on estrogen plus my 123 or so pounds over a roughly 5'8" frame I am hardly a threat to other women in my general class athletically, fact I suck eggs and would never ever win over the majority of woman in my class.
I hate unnuanced views from either side of this 'debate'.
Unfortunately in this click bait world where uninformed views seem to dominate I doubt our view is in the majority right now.
