Things are getting worse here in Alberta.
The provincial government apparently announced that it will no longer cover SRS.
Now, this won't affect me directly, as my health isnt good enough for the surgery, but I feel for any Albertans who were hoping to get it.
But that's not the worst of it. The ruling party is having a convention right now, and one of the ideas being debated is bringing in a bathroom bill, basically banning someone like me from the using the lady's room.
I am seriously worried about whether I should flee this place before they declare me a drag queen and arrest me the next time I pass a school.

Reptilian politicians the world over are using the same playbook.
Voters operate on a base level that defies logic.
Demagogues create "enemies" to be feared. It has nothing to do with your self worth.
Yet, unfortunately, it has everything to do with your happiness.
You're a person who has shown this community that you're kind and caring. The last thing I would ever describe you as is someone to be feared. Yet, laws are being passed under that false premise.
Please accept the biggest hug I can send you. Alberta can be a cold place.

I'd always considered Canada
As a place common-sense and compassion, seems that was when it was pink on the map of the world. I don't like the way the self-righteous right seem to be able to denounce anything that is good in this world, while hiding behind religion and preaching hate. My own views on religion are well known, the gullible led by psychopaths, who hold payback after death as a lever. It's all rubbish but it is planted deep inside us and that is evil. So the use of religion by people like Trump is also evil, but then Trump is a mendacious psycho and narcissist, so that figures. How come his followers can't see it.
