Well you didn't think you'd escape that easily did you?

After a miserable Friday weatherwise, on Saturday i borrowed a bike to go for a ride. I wasn't enthused to go far and i ended up just doing a bit of exploring around Bristol for all of 27km. It was a less than uplifting couple of hours to tell the truth. Then on Sunnday i did much the same, this time using the unpowered ebike, the ride was within metres of the same length and seconds of the same time and just as unfulfilling.

Monday i ended up going for a bit of a walk, really just to occupy myself, i just can't get into writing mode at the moment. Yesterday, well after writing on here i needed to get some shopping so that was that. I ended up cooking us a semi roast lamb dinner which lifted the spirits a bit.

And so to today, still no word from the shop, you might think it was something extraordinary i was after, not a few ball bearings. Its making me quite antsy tbh, i just want to get the bits so i can fix the bike, its a simple enough job. I guess i'll just go for a walk in a bit

So there we are, all things being equal i'll be back on Sunday with a new Gaby posting and hopefully better news with the bike situation.
