Announced today that they are taking HRT. It will be interesting to see if they get the same type of support they enjoyed when they treated their female presentation as cross dressing and a lark. They seem to be making a good living from their Internet presence, which includes more than YouTube. Comments seem to be extremely positive. Yay.

I've often wondered ...
... if F1nn5ster identifying as a boy was just something to get more views. It is possible to identify as a boy, but prefer presenting as a girl. That doesn't necessarily mean it's about crossdressing, although it could be. F1nn could also be a femme presenting non-binary person, or a transgirl, or have some other identity as well. However they identify, they definitely seem like a sweet person, and I really hope things go well for them on their journey of self discovery. :)
In the video, they came out
In the video, they came out twice -- as genderfluid and bi.
They said he/him for pronouns, but on the screen, it said any pronoun is fine.
Going by what they said in the video, they're still figuring things out. Their presentation through their programming opened the door for them to realize some things about their identity, especially as they interacted with more trans people.
They also have a supportive trans girlfriend who has her own channel as well as appearing on F1nn5ter's channel often.
I wouldn't be surprised if they remain genderfluid. I wouldn't be surprised if they do a future video where they say "I'm a woman." I wish them well, wherever it takes them.
Good to know
F1nn5ter was source material when Chrissy and I were writing ‘Gamer Girl’ – even if we went in a different direction. I watched a few videos and I always liked the sense of fun. Altogether too many people seem to let their gender transgressions make them miserable!
