A site created and managed by DAW for the purpose of promoting discussion concerning the writing of TG/Transformation Fiction, with forays into discussion of specific stories.
While focused on writing such stories, it is not limited to those who actually publish; readers who feel they could offer useful insights are welcome. After all, without readers, what value has actually posting the story?

About
So, you've stumbled across this site and you look around a moment, scratch your head, and ask yourself "What this all about?"
I'm just going to start off with the assumption that you have no idea what 'TG' is and that's where it might get a bit complicated. TG is short for transgender, and, in the broadest sense of the word, refers to someone who does not conform to traditional gender roles. In the case of this site, the terms has a slightly different context from what is the generally accepted meaning. TG is a genre of fiction that deals with a transformation of character from one gender to another and, in some cases, somewhere in between. This can be achieved through *poof* he's a girl now transformations, or something a little more drawn out. In many instances it doesn't mean a physical transformation at all, but one brought on through cross-dressing, cosmetic surgery or something called a skin suit.
Often, theses stories are all about fulfilling some sexual fetish, but in others they are simply a means for the author to work through the discomfort of being assigned the wrong gender at birth. In either case, they do generally involve some form of wish-fulfillment.
The TG Consortium was conceived as a place for TG content creators across mediums to be able to gather about and help one another improve their craft. Whether that's a writer looking for input on his latest work, a comic book creator seeking advice on panel composition or render artist looking for suggestion on improving his/her rendering techniques, they're all welcome. Whether you're producing your work for free, like me, or if you are seeking some form of monetary reimbursement for your efforts, this site is for you.
Where does that leave those who consume tg content? Well, you're more than welcome to join. Your advice and creative input is valuable too and we more than welcome you're thoughts.
