There is a column on the My Stories web page called Published. And, it appears that it always contains "Yes."

I'm wondering, since that column exists. Is there a way to save a story, that you're preparing to publish and not ready to do so?

Published vs Unpublished

While that's a feature that's been discussed in the past, it's not one we've implemented yet. What we have now is the ability to un-publish a story once it's been published so that it's removed from public view and can be edited or other needs, without deleting all the comments and such that are attached to it that are deleted when an author deletes a story.

I could see where this could be a problem. Allow people to add a story to work on. Then they don't wok on it. And, just let it sit unfinished forever.
