GRRAAA gender pronouns munched and crunched at the wayside.... they didnt even TRY to be apropriate.. but hey, boys are boys and girls are girls! Everyone knows we're just confused! *slams head into desk*
The participants were more understanding
than the prat who wrote the narration. If someone is living full time in role, it is usually a courtesy to describe them with the appropriate pronoun. Calling someone of 16 who shaves has a hairy chest and arse, 'she' was discourteous in the extreme, in the same way the little 'girls' who were very brave to talk about their lives, were called, 'he'. It grated every time. The parents were brilliant, trying to do their best for their kids - hats off to them.
