I'm away for a week commencing 25th September. I'll be abroad - Menorca again, and I don't think my dongle will work there, so I won't be posting for a week.
I've done a new episode of Whatever Next, my Gaby fanfic, which I have to finish editing. I hope to get that to Maddy over the weekend but with her computer problems, I can't say when it'll be posted.

Don't take this the wrong way, and fellow readers please don't shoot me down in flames, but since you've been writing new chapters of various stories (a certain 746+ episode tale springs to mind) almost every day for the past few years, and you won't be able to post anything while you're away, have you considered having a week's break from writing as well?
Unless, of course, you're so addicted to writing stories that your laptop is (metaphorically speaking) surgically attached to you, and you cannot bear the thought of abandoning it for a week :)

I agree.
Technology, while in general good, can cause us to become "addicted" to it. I find the only way to be sure to be on vacation is to get away from computers totally.
If people need me, I have my cell phone.
Everyone needs down time, make your down time "productive" and we'll see you when you get back.

Just shows what an innocent country girl I am; I thought it was something to do with the Internet.
Anyway, don't forget the rules of annual leave; you earn it before you go and pay for it when you return.

Thanks for the good wishes
for my hols, but you're stuck with me for nearly three weeks until then. As for all the jokes about broads and dongles... I'm still trying to explain them to Bonzi, the other one I'm not talking to, she was sick all over the place which I had to clear up when I came in! This on top of costing me a fortune at the vets and breaking the carry basket. She is a walking disaster area - what have I got into?

Hooray, a new Whatever Next episode. I want you to know I really appreciate that storyline, and have re-read CTL and WN several times. I'm excited to know what'll happen to Gaby's colored eyebrows/lashies and whether it's time for Meadows to reappear.
