Sue Brown has asked me to tell you that there will be a few slight delays to forthcoming chapters of Changes and Football Girl for the time being, because her mother is ill in hospital and she has gone to be near her.
Sue is currently staying at her mother's house which only has a dial-up connection to the internet, so she has asked me to post her stories for her until she gets home. While she is away, her writing time will be somewhat limited, as I am sure you will understand. However, between us, we try to keep your insatiable thirst for Sue's writings quenched.
About half an hour ago I received an email with Changes~23 attached, which I shall edit in the morning (it's 1.15am here) and post as soon as I can afterwards. Some of you might have noticed that I posted Changes~22 for her.
I am sure we all want to wish Sue's mum a safe and speedy recovery.
Gabi.

Whole hearted agreement
I have to concur that we wish Sue and her Mum all the best and while we want more story, Family and RL in general has to take command at times.
Sue should just see to her mums comfort and come back to us when she can. In the meanwhile that will free some time for Gabs to write a little bit for us and let us know whats happening back in 1940.
I must add that I am hooked on Changes, and Football Girl has a niche for followup.
Many thanks to ALL our writers for sharing.

Changes
Although i will miss the continueing episodes of Changes. Family is most important thing about. Her mother and her family must come first.

Your mum is in my thoughts, Susan
I hope she's better soon. Take good care of her and don't worry about us--we'll manage until you can get back.
Warm hugs,

p.s. thanks for keeping us posted, Gabi.
Hang in there Sue
I gather your mom is quite elderly as you have mentioned your aproximate age before and I at 51 am your junior.
I lost my mom to cancer in June of 2005. I hope your's recovers and you have many more years before it ia her time.

We all want Sue's mom to get
We all want Sue's mom to get better, and we want Sue to be able to know her mother is getting better so that her writings are like they were, and not change in tone because of sadness. Being well isn't only for the patient to be better but also for the family and friends too.
