Move complete, I'm back on the job. :)

I'm moving today and tomorrow, if all goes well, I'll be without cable internet only for a day. If things go poorly, it might be Monday before I have hi-speed access again. I've asked Bob Arnold to keep an eye on the site while I'm handicapped by having only a dial-up connection so everyone please thank Bob for me. :)
Should be back for sure by Tuesday and soon there will be some new features and goodies for the site, including new cartoons I hope, and new stories by me. :) The rest of the BC authors have been keeping us fat and happy so be sure to show your appreciation to them, too. :)

One hiccup fixed
The system has been off-line for about an hour. Looks like a database problem. Restarting the DB service then kickstarting the web service seems to have fixed it. The outage looks to have started around 4:30 PM PDT by the logs. I'll try to track it a bit more to see if I can figure out where things are "burping".

Great to hear chapter 22 is underway.
Fresh Start gave us a badly needed dose of Jennifer, but two? years in the future. What the heck happened when she and her, well, his daughter met? She's back with Adam and their cross-country romance, but how did they reconcile, did she or Adam ever stray, AAAARRRG!

About Fresh Start
Fresh Start is a story by Julie O. You'll find it here on BC Topshelf and on my own Stardust site. Jennifer Stevens from Zapped made a guest appearance in Fresh Start 2 and may appear again in additional stories in that setting.
It was a great deal of fun to work with Julie doing the story and I hope that readers have just as much fun reading it.
I also need to mention that the next chapter of Zapped explores the relationship between Jennifer and Alexis Eden, a character from Julie's story. Several readers of Fresh Start 2 have asked how Jen and Alexis met so I decided to expand on that in Zapped 22.

Well, that explains why I couldn't find it. I assumed it was one of your stories, Bob, but couldn't find it under your name. I did just finish FS2, which of course left me with several unanswered questions that FS will hopefully be able to answer.

As Amelia commented elsewhere, she's doing the editing it so desperately needs. When she gets it back to me I'll do a final approval on it and send it off to Sapphire. I'll also post it on my Stardust site since Sapphire isn't on a regular posting schedule at the moment.
Maybe, with a bit of luck, Z22 will be posted this weekend on Stardust.

Seeing how busy our resident IT/computer guru is at the bank -- and we're only seven, soon to be eight branches plus HQ -- how do you ever find the time to write, Bob, given all the websites you help maintain? I feel lazy, all we have is dial-up at home and sneeker-net to connect our various beasts.
I sympathise with Erin and her move, simply helping Dad sort through Mom's stuff as she was dying was a major chore. Thank goodness we didn't have to move.

Some people take things too seriously, I guess. I figure if Erin is unhappy with the right turn (or is it a left turn) this has taken, she'll let us know. Otherwise, let's all have some fun with life! And PLEASE!, keep writing! I gotta know what happens next to Jen!

I'm as guilty as the next person, perhaps more, of getting off topic.
I also have a twisted sense of humor. If anything I said offended, I'm sorry. I greatly enjoy both Erin's and Bob's fiction and am in awe of the effort they must put into running these websites.
I hope all is going well with the move and I look forward reading stories by both of you.
