too bad that this won't get shown in the USA
Especially when a recent report said that people pitching to Hollywood for TV shows are shying away from even casting no white actors as leads. The black/coloured actors can be the bad guys but not the heros'.
That signifies the lack of risk-taking in the USA with 'him' and his bunch of idiots in charge.
A series like this could not have been made in the USA and even possibly on UK Commercial TV channels.
I watched the trailer for it and read the guardian article.
Pet Peeve with the BBC.
They are plugging it on iPlayer but never say when it is being broadcast.
