She seems to have become very tolerant of how I dress when I go out. First it was when we were going to the doctor for her appointments. My attire was seriously on the feminine end of androgynous even with lipstick and mascara. She twice allowed it where she used to make a fuss if I wore knee high nylons instead of socks.
But just today, we decided to treat ourselves to a take out meal from a little food trailer down by the old mill pond. I headed out wearing what I'd had on all day; a pair of skinny sweat pants and a white top with black floral print, my Naturalizer loafers and my hair pulled back with a large easy comb. My wife looked right at me and reminded me that she wanted some Sun Chips. I did slip on a woman's jacket, but didn't fasten it.
I was comfortable letting the proprietor of the stand see me. He's an openly gay man and I'd seen him on one of my shopping trips to the big city near by where I always dress femininely when I shop. We didn't speak, but he was in the checkout line and saw me, recognized me and nodded. I nodded back and went on with my shopping.

Love the top!
Great top, Patricia! And you’re right — nothing ambiguous about it. I’d say your bride has made her peace with it. ;-)

A Bully Perhaps?
Or she just gave up?
Just gave up
I'll turn 80 on Saturday, She just turned 78 this month. She's been dealing with it for over 50 years. She in line to get hip surgery (replacement joint) this summer. I think that she's finally decided that there are more important things to concern herself with than what other people think of us.
Hugs
Patricia

78, in good enough shape for hip replacement, and married to you? Sound like a lucky girl.
