The latest installment of the Light saga is now posted complete! Thus for anyone waiting to binge-read the new novel in its entirety, it's waiting for you! Specifically here: Hope's Light
And now I face the daunting task of writing the next (and if things go as planned, the final) book. Much has been resolved, but there's so much more story left to go. In addition to the truckload of donuts owed Kimmie for all her proofreading help, my muse may need all the sweets, wine, and even sherry she can manage to aid me in launching and then bringing this last upcoming volume to the finish line. I'm admittedly excited to finally be able to do so...all while nerves overload with anxiety from hoping to not fall short. So many scenes yet to put on the page which have been not-so-patiently waiting since kicking off this adventure nearly eight years ago!
So yep, pass over some of that sherry, oh muse! We've got our work cut out for us.
Thanks to everyone reading, hopefully this latest offering has not disappointed!
And if you're wondering what this is all about, the first seeds were planted here: Into The Light. If you think you'd enjoy an epic of universal proportions slowly peeling back that celestial curtain book by book...then please give it a try!!

If you have not yet read this…….
Drop everything and start now! But be prepared to not be able to put it down.
This is an epic story by an outstanding author and I am anxiously looking forward to seeing the next book - although hearing that the next book may be the last saddens me. I will be very sorry to see this come to an end, but unfortunately every story needs a conclusion.

Endings
While I too can have that mix of happy/sad when a great long-running story reaches conclusion, I think that's far preferable to one which never gets the ending it deserves - either by it just never getting written (oh hello, George R. R. Martin!), or if the author never had a good ending in mind to aim for in the first place and thus the series just fizzles out. Or worse...goes totally off the rails and becomes ridiculous.
For wonderful readers such as yourself, I can only hope that on that final page you'll be content and feel that indeed the ending was worthy. :)
Thank you, Dallas!!
Or worse than that……
A truly talented author disappears with their best work unfinished. That has happened too many times to too many fantastic authors. I still send out a message every once in a while to a few of them; I know that I will probably never get an answer, but I still do it in the hope that wherever they are, whether in this world or the next, that they will see my message and know that they are missed.
Too many have died too young and left those of us who loved their work to mourn their passing. The terrible thing is that you can never really know what happened - they just disappear from the site, and we are left wondering and missing them.

Journey’s pregnant pause . . .
Mercifully we are not yet at the end, and we still have many wonderful moments with Amariel before we are required to disembark for good. Every installment of this saga has been fantastic — a truly monumental achievement! I’m actually glad we have to wait for the last book, because I’ll probably have to start all over again in the months before it comes out. :)

Time
Given how each installment keeps taking longer to write, there's probably enough time to read it all twice! Maybe even thrice! ;)
Thanks Emma!!
Thank you for a most excellent work
Thank you for a truly epic work, now I need to find time to catch up on commenting on it. We'll be patiently (yeah right..) waiting for the conclusion of the story, and I have faith you'll do a marvelous job wrapping it all up.
Thanks AKiwi!!
Thanks AKiwi!! If it's any consolation, I'm impatient to get it done too!
Honestly, I'll probably be a wreck at that moment: happy, sad, and weirdly bewildered. :)
I never binge read
The stroke I had precludes my ability to read fast, instead I saver read it at my leisure. I do love this series and have started reading it now.
Savoring
Reading at a leisurely pace to savor everything may be the best way to do it, actually! Much to think about, that's for sure! :)
Thanks, Wendy!! Hope you enjoy this installment!
