Didn't there used to be a universe of stories about a machine that changed peoples but was a free sample service? I think the machine was a Morphic Adaptive Unit?
I can't remember the last time I saw a story like that or what the universe was or if it had a home site?
Thanks :)

You mean MAU?

Elrod's MAU
The Universe was created by Elrod, and some of its stories are here: https://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/book-page/64882/morphic-adapt.... I haven't heard from him in a long time. My guess (and hope) is that he is busy with the Whateley Universe over on its site.

MAU
Fictionmania. Category search. Shows MAU with 148 entries, none I looked at particularly new.
I've written one too..
I've written an MAU story as well, actually, it was my first foray into writing tg fiction. It's ok, but can use a lot of reworking that would make it better.
Thanks Everyone
I remember there used to be a lot of MAU stories, also the altered fates or medallion stories and then they dried up. I couldn't remember for sure what it was called.
There are some number of such ...
stories.
One not yet mentioned is

I think the first or prequel is "Pioneers."
Trismegistus Shandy (has, I think) and will link you into, similar stories.
You may end up using the "Way Back Machine", a web archiving service.
