Too Soon? Too Seventies? Well, there's a reason Americans are feared the world around as terrifying soldiers, we laugh at death.

So more about me. Saturday before last I weighed 330 odd lbs. Monday I had massive gas pain and had to actually go the ER it was so painful. That, and my doc was worried my 1cm open tumor had closed up, so off I went for an emergency CT. So they saw lots of poo backed up, but no complete blockage I got sent home (MY choice, I admit) with like 6 different kinds of laxatives/stool softeners. Doc wanted that backup to liquefy so I could pass it. So I took them and now I have an interesting new form of torture to inflict on a character soon...

When I left the ER I weighted 299lbs.

Odd, I admit, but considering my issues, nothing out of the ordinary. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were a special kind of hell that I wont' describe here. But suffice to say, you can imagine what happened. Finally the gas pain was too much (7-8 pain level out of 10) and I went back to the ER. They took me back and started the pain management regimen with Morphine. (Oh look, the drug the Army gave and killed me with, I remember you, evil, evil Poppy Juice!)

So I get let out today so I can make the appointment with my surgeon to get my surgery date. (So long, Large Intestine! It's been a great 54 years, but come May 7th you and I have to part ways. God speed!) On a giggle, I get on the Doc's scale, and you could have knocked me over with a feather. Literally!

262 US Pounds. In one week I'm down nearly a Back Street Boy! Now, I don't recommend being THIS kind of Jenny Craig success story, but for once, I FINALLY get the 'Sudden Rapid Weight Loss' symptom.

Long wait, but worth it.
