Hello friends. I am now home from Cobb WellStar Hospital, two tumors and a fair amount of intestine lighter. But the cancer is now out of me and we have some breathing space to plot the battle. From here, it will be 6 months of chemo to be sure anything too small to have been seen is dead and once we're sure of that, a follow up surgery to repair my lightened intestines.
Tired, sore, beat up and sobered.
Almost died on the table, but thanks to the quick thinking and decisiveness of my surgeon, I'm still here and home. And I got news an old college buddy my age died.
Life is short. Live every moment.

Is excellent news. Just keep your head and mood up. I do hear chemo hurts like hell when applied, so keep good companions around to hold your hand and cry on.
I have had so many of those cameras done its not funny. At least with the new ones, they put you to sleep unlike before. It was fun seeing the souvenir pics of places they burnt, just like on vacation. Been a couple years, so i am due. Such pleasant news for my 72 bday on 17th. You have to be able to laugh at it. Old age is no place for sissies.
My advice (and I do have some…)
Lately (and I include myself with this - [because I’m in remission myself]) I give out the saying by ‘Will Rogers’ (paraphrased and repurposed)
“Do NOT associate with obese female opera singers.”

dear one. My recent wave of testing identified minor issues in my heart best addressed at the present time with my meds alone Any further issues might require other interventions; but I'm okay for now.
I have a cyst (adenoma) near my pancreatic duct that continues to require periodic monitoring for precancerous cells. The most recent MRI revealed no growth; so I'm alright for the time being.
Even the thought of what might develop still leaves me a bit afraid for the future. My hopes and prayers for you, dear Lady!
