Correction
Entries will be accepted up to 6:00 am US East Coast time, because it will still be Valentine’s Day somewhere on the planet. The confusion is my fault — I honestly forgot that NZ is on the other side of the International Date Line.

Thank You
Thank you for your time and dedication making this contest fun for readers and writers.
P.S. Thank you for giving me a heart attack thinking I had missed the deadline and would not be able to post my finished but needing my final edits story to BCTS. I was about to post it instead to my Patreon for a two-week preview for my patrons before posting it to BCTS (if it is late what does it matter if it is one day late or 2 weeks and a day late.)
I'm glad that in order to ask my question {if with the contest deadline passing I could post my contest entry that did beat the deadline to another venue (my Patreon)} I had to scroll past the other comments to post my comment and saw that the headline on the blog was an EARLY APRIL FOOLS JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please don't scare me like that. I'm an honest to goodness cardiac patient and I'm due to get my open heart surgery date on March 6th I hope.

I Just Checked
It's 1 a.m. on February 15 in Auckland, New Zealand, so I really think the fat lady has sung on the submission of entries for our competition.
Yup. Pens down!
The contest is now officially closed. I’ll have a blog post up shortly. :)

Whew
To borrow a quote from The Fugitive, "You know I'm glad. I need the rest."
Thanks for doing this and being so welcoming!
And, yes, I'll come up with new stories once the batteries recharge.
