It was my fault entirely that I pasted the wrong story into this site.
I have rectified that now. I am sorry for the confusion it might have caused.
I put the blame down to tiredness from 7hours on the motorcycle nursing it in traffic as it has started to overheat. A few days ago, it got so hot that it dumped a load of coolant onto where I'd just parked. Even yesterday, coming into Trondheim, it got hot. I am not even halfway through my trip and yes, I have considered aborting it.
I have one major conurbation to navigate and that is Helsinki. All the places from here on in Norway and Finland are smallish towns and cities.

Get it looked at
No cooling system should behave like that.
The implication is that there is a blockage somewhere and the fluid isn't circulating well enough to do its job.
I would have someone look at it before it becomes more expensive.
Journey update
I'm now in Moi-I-Rana. Approx halfway between Trondheim and Narvik. 400km from Trondheim.
The bike runs perfectly unless I get stuck in traffic and the fan has to kick in. It is a variable speed fan and it seems that the higher speed is not working. No leaks or using coolant on the 295 mile trip today. (left at 06:30, arrived 14:45).
It rained for most of the ride but nowhere near the deluge from Monday.
I discussed the problem with Triumph via the dealer yesterday. It is one of two parts and there are none in stock in Scandinvia plus the next dealer I pass is in Helsinki on 12th July. The parts could be made available there but it would mean me missing my ferry. As long as the bike behaves on the road I will leave it until I get home. My two areas of concern are 1) getting through Helsinki. I will leave enough time s to be able to stop and let the engine cool down before heading to the ferry. 2) getting through passport control at Harwich. I may just pull aside and left almost everyone get through so I don't have to queue for very long.
Off early tomorrow as I have a ferry to catch at 13:15 and it is 200 miles away. Still, the weather forecast is a little better than recent days.

The only liquid cooled motorcycle ...
... I've owned (and used as my regular transport) was a 1932 Scott TT Replica which needed the radiator topped up regularly. I used to drain it every night in winter and refill with a kettle of hot water each morning before struggling through the snow to work :) That was in the 1960s. All my Triumphs were 650cc parallel twins - air-cooled in those distant days though a very trusting friend once lent me an ex-ISDT 500cc Cheney Triumph to ride in a winter (and icy) trial.
Don't worry about the posting slip-up (though I did find it puzzling) and enjoy your epic ride. I envy you. I was a very enthusiastic motor cyclist for many years but I'm afraid Anno Domini has struck and as an octogenarian it would be beyond me now.

In a year not to be mentioned, in the early days of networked electronic messaging when TCP was but a dream, and some host names were a single letter, at an esteemed university not to be mentioned there was a department of either computer science or electrical engineering; which one shall not be said. There they had a bulletin-board system that on the primary one-letter host by default posted to the departmental announcement board. There were also ‘fun” boards, where some years later “:-)” was invented.
Back to our tale. Someone’s response to an inflammatory “fun” board post began “Kaboom, Dickheads!” Unfortunately the poster forgot to say which board. Said poster was the dean’s admin.
