I have been trying to get into the Whateley Academy site, or the Crystal Hall site, to read a few of the stories I haven’t read in years.
Unfortunately, I am unable to get in. I can’t remember my old account, so I tried to create a new one - but it keeps telling me my account has either been locked or has not yet been verified.
When I try to recover my user name or password, I get a message that I will get an e-mail with a code - but I never get the e-mail.
Any suggestions from anyone?

Make sure you're visiting the current site
https://whateley.academy is the correct link. This iteration of the site has been around for just under two years.
User accounts were not carried over from the previous sites, so if you haven't registered on the current site you'll need to do so.
I did the opening page splash art for the current site :)
I've visited iterations of the site a few times recently and hadn't seen it: nice to have verification they actually used it!

Register or not
If I land on the homepage it wants me to log in or create an account. When I am on the homepage (without logging in) I can click on any of the tabs to the right and it'll take me to them without logging or creating an account. I don't even go to the homepage to start, I have "recent-releases" bookmarked and go directly there (without logging in) to check for new stories. https://whateley.academy/index.php/recent-releases
I am not sure what registering or logging in adds to the ability to navigate the site and read stories. Maybe for comments?
I assume that what I have done to navigate to the stories would be available to everyone.
Why register
