I'll concur for a simpler, less fancy script, and ...
I think a photo of a real tree section (or a more convincing one) would be better. Then leave all else in place.
Somehow, I kept trying to see the tree as a phonograph (remember vinyl?) record.

Why don't you throw a real plate and put some script on it?

But mostly, because I liked the symbolism of using a plate from a wedding reception.

I'm not sure? I can't get any using my iMac. They only pop up as a suggested option when I use my iPad Pro. So I use them when I can. Only one more day before the reunion and I still don't know what to wear. Once this is done, I'm going to start my story. :DD
