Telling any child they or their identity is invalid is a perilous course, no matter what your reasons. To blatantly stop any medical treatment for a segment of the population based on your beliefs, not theirs, is a difficult course. We need to stand up for all trans people, including ourselves, but especially trans youth. We have failed them this far and must fight for them daily.

It's Bad
Depending on one's position this isn't a true detransition but a complete halt or stopping of trans care by any medical profession. They have until the end of the year to stop treating transgender. Basically pulling the support for transgender rather than putting them into a reversal clinic.
Crap, this takes me back over forty years when I had to get all my hormones overseas. First because they weren't available for those like me in the USA and second they were so exorbitantly expensive even if one finagled a prescription.
I caution everyone to NOT start naming overseas connections for hormones. If the girls are desperate they will find them. Do NOT use India as it has become a swamp of con artists. Do NOT wire money or a check or money order. Hormones nor money will return. Mexico, Thailand and most places will not ship to the USA any longer. FDA threatened their governments with closing off any aid. Driving across the border into Mexico to purchase hormones is possible. No prescriptions needed but beware of the drug cartels. It's been years since I pulled that trick, I can't encourage anyone to do it now. Brazil used to ship hormones but without connections now forget it.
What I am trying to caution the girls about is one needs reliable connections now. It's not the same when I was buying overseas hormones. Beware of the companies who advertise on the Dark Web. The hormones may or may not be legit but the prices are four to ten times prescription prices.
Please do NOT ask me for help. I'm not going to prison for dealing in hormones. I hope and pray the girls find a way forward.

Detransistion or Conversion Therapy
It came to me last night there are several states have passed laws against Conversion Therapy. It's illegal to try and deprogram anyone who is GLBT. It's illegal for any church or other organizations to deprogram anyone who is GLBT and yet if the states rename it as detransistion it is legal for the state to do it? What a convoluted world we live in. Not what one says but how they say it whether it's legal or not?

And those who are transgender thought making it through school was tough! Now they have to fight for the right to live in society and it's not only the bigots and rednecks but their own government. At least in fiction we can write a satisfactory ending.

I wouldn't wish this kind of life on anyone. There are many worse off than being transgender though. Accept it as a blessing and make the best of the life one is dealt.

As long as FOX gives him a platform for his bigoted transphobic garbage they have no right to throw stones.
Do a search on Tucker Carlson transgender and see how high the manure has been stacked. On our farm we used manure as a wind break and piled it eye high around the outside of the milking barn. FOX piles it much higher.
Hopefully the lawsuits against FOX for slander will result in billion dollar awards and slow their roll of attracting eyeballs with hate speech and outrageous lies.
