- the school is specifically for evil villains and magicians
- the teenaged protagonist has no magic and no wish to be a villain, and is sure he will die quickly at the school, but is parents are proud of their lineage of alumni, and make him go.

He gets turned into a girl on the bus to school by accepting food from a friendly seatmate. He (she) survives by quick wits, and allying with a strong girl leader type. The most memorable section is when she is has to join a contest where members of her school are paired off against members of a hero school, and she is sure she will die. However, the hero antagonist takes her for an innocent helpless maiden who has been kidnapped. She spends a few chapters by trying to get rid of him by tricking him into deadly situations out of desperation and spur of the moment invention. Finally succeeds, and learns that she has won the contest, and her school teachers think she planned this all and is a supreme mastermind, and, to her horror, is placed at the top of the lists of students to defeat.
