Once more, unto the breach. This story has a stuntman contracted to use a set of functional wings developed by an inventor for a movie. First he has to test them out, learn to fly with them, then do the scenes for the movie. Sorry, Daphne
Trying to break out of the subject line rut. Figured it would attract more attention.

The Last of the Fey
A very well written story. Denise Trask gave the rights to the story to her brother who in turn donated it to BCTS. I've read it three times and each time make a donation to BCTS in honor of the very talented lady who wrote the story.
Another great story is Station's Late Night Princess by Snow. Which again, when I read it I donate to BCTS in honor of Snow and exceptional writing talent. There are other authors and stories for which I do the same.
Because I don't do Kindle or any of the electronic books this is my way of paying restitution for the chance to read stories from some of the best authors to ever put pen to paper, so to speak. Some of the authors I contacted and tried to pay them directly just as if I had purchased their book. I'm guessing they are skittish about either divulging their real name and or address. No one has accepted my offer.
To all the authors and the staff of BCTS, I don't think there are authors here who beat the NYT Best Seller List hands down. And not a better place to showcase that raw talent than BCTS.

Thanks to all three of you for responding! Too bad it's on kindle, no rereads now. :-(

I can't guarantee all the chapters are there: I know the first and last ones come up.

Sorry, Eric
I have no idea why you were blocked, but judging by your name's position in relation to other names it happened a long time ago. Cleared now.

Coincidentally the announcement reminding us of the book being published on line was reposted this past Friday. I read The Last of the Fey back when it was still posted on BCTS. Very nice story, well worth the read.
Great Story!
I read it years ago, so don't remember much now, but I do remember it as a great story.
