Good Morning!
The last thing I published here was the beginning of a novel I was writing called Vacation.
Some of you read it, and I want your suggestions...
It needs a publishable title. Vacation is not going to cut it and I'm interested in hearing any suggestions you might think of.
The third part of the book is coming back from my editor soon, so it will appear within the month. That means that before I publish it to Amazon, I have to erase it here. So, if you want to see the first third of the book, read it here before it's removed.
Looking forward to any suggestions you have to offer. The winner will receive a free PDF of the book for their downloading.
Thanks,
Leslie

I am guessing it has a vacation in it?
Can you give any clues that might assist in suggesting a title for you?
Clues
Sure. Uh, maybe.
Lowell secretly dresses as Lovey when Claire is away for work.
A year ago, Lowell, a feminized man, started seeing a doctor and secretly started hormones. He thinks his wife doesn’t know.
The original title “Vacation” refers to him taking a vacation from his life to become Lovey.
That’s the best I can offer. Other than reading the story here on BC. THX
Having read the first third……
I am conflicted as to a title.
The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that the husband is caught by his wife. The second thing that comes to mind is that his secret wasn’t as secret as he thought, and the third thing that comes to mind is that his wife has told everyone she knows all about him.
Of course, I have trouble not thinking about the first way it was written and how the wife was cheating on him with a co-worker and forged his name onto divorce papers which she and her lover (both lawyers) had drawn up. But I assume that is no longer part of the story based on our previous discussions.
Hmmmmmmm……….
How about “The UnSecret” or perhaps “Secret No More”, or maybe “The UnSecret Life”. You could even go with “The UnSecret Life of (insert name here)”. Or if you wanted to stay with the vacation concept, try “The Never-ending Vacation.”
Of course, you could always play up on the fact that the one time husband is now the perfect wife. Try “The Partners New Wife” or perhaps “The Perfect Partner’s Wife”.

How about...
"The Grass is Greener" or "The Grass appeared Greener"
from that old saying about the grass always looking greener on the other side of the fence.
We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
Thank You
All your suggestions are great, thanks.
As far as my original piece leaving a bad taste for you, I can’t undo that. For me, it’s no longer a mea culpea. After all, I did take your suggestions to heart and change the premise
I Love the Beatles
"Love. . .Lovey Too"

Angela Rasch (Jill M I)
The Beatles
I think they’re great, too
Thanks
Title
From Husband to Lovey
Thanks
Great thought. I wonder if it would send the potential reader the right message. Maybe, Changing From Lowell to Lovey
or
Loving Lovey
My offerings...
"Dreams can come true, it can happen to you" or " Careful what you wish for" , Hugs, Talia
Hmmm
The reason my editor, Tom Peashey, suggested I drop Vacation was because it might be confused with other stories with the same title. I like both your suggestions, but think they create a similar dilemma
"Holiday for Lovey"
Has been suggested to me by a friend as a good title, and they wanted me to relay that to you :)
*hugs*

Please tell your friend
Thank you. I like the idea of Holiday. Holiday for Lowell doesn’t seem to convey the message, but seems more accurate
