Up now.!
Maybe just power-outage, or something like that.
It looks like ...
... their SSL credentials are messed up. https: access is denied due to failed authentication; http: access goes through and shows what is expected. Does this mean you should avoid wandering around the site? Probably not.
How's that for an ole biddie?

Between the wrinkles, the orthopedic shoes, and nine decades of gravity, it is really hard to be alluring. My icon, you ask? It is the last picture I allowed to escape the camera ... back before most BC authors were born.
What it means is ...
... communication between you and the Fictionmania server are not encrypted, so anyone "sniffing" your (or their) connection will see what you send. Privacy is no longer assured.
(I think that) I've seen this happen when the computer clocks disagree. Since our clocks are "close enough", perhaps Fictionmania's server got its clock messed up.
Or, maybe their SSL credentials expired and have not yet been renewed.

One more thing ...
"https:" encrypts the exchange of info between you and the site. It does not hide the fact that you connected to that site.
So, since passwords and credit card info are not involved with Fictionmania (I think that is right), anyone "sniffing" your connection (when you access with "http:") can see that you are reading only the "G" stories (you are, aren't you?) and not the "XXX" stories. :)

I failed
when I saw it was down last night, I tried to lift its spirits with a cute song about bunnies and rainbows. That didn't work, so I tried Hot Cocoa and popcorn. No dice. I pulled out an old copy of Hot Air Henry and read to it awhile, but it's still down.
Love, Andrea Lena
*grinning*
If I was that site, ya prolly woulda had at the bunnies and rainbows song. But ... how does that song go? I'd love to hear it, if you're up to singin' it again. :)
Cheer up song
Here's one of mine, no bunnies or rainbows, though: https://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/7684/missing-hug

FictionMania is still down today?

FictionMania
I forgot to mention that I am getting a blank white page with just the text. Saying that the site can't be reached and stuff about the connection being reset and to check the connection. You can fit what I know about programming and websites in a sewing thimble and still have room for a large shot of whiskey lol but I hope that helps someone who knows more than me figure things out.
