Can anyone help me find two stories? I've searched different ways, over and over, all in vain. In the first, a teen boy has a crush on a girl. She doesn’t show up at school, so he goes to her house and slips inside their electric gate before it shuts and is then trapped inside. No option but to pretend to be her girlfriend, using her sister’s clothes, until he can somehow get away. Traditional father wants to marry the girl off to some slimeball.

In the second, a teen spies a tall, athletic woman, from the bus, then picks up his little sister, buys a necklace which somehow keeps getting on his neck. The woman is an alien who helps protect him from other aliens. The necklace connects him to a goddess. His widowed dad is the police chief, and the kid has to do most of the housework and mothering of his sister.
