So as the title of this blog alludes to, I'm finally close to filing my legal name change.
I managed to change my gender marker in New Jersey and I've been waiting to get my birth certificate changed till I also had my name change so that I only have to pay one fee to the state of California (where I was born).
For a long time, I have been using the name Kirstyn Amanda Fox which was my chosen name. The last name Fox was in relation to Kimberly Fox who some of you may know as KimEM. The nickname of "Piper" that you all know was always a nickname that just got out of control.
So just to let everyone know, I have made some changes, in that I will stay true to myself with Kirstyn as my first name, but honor my "modern" history by using Piper as my middle name.
My last name won't be changing to Fox however. I will be keeping my biological last name that Aimee has adopted, and is on the NinjaBaby's birth certificate.
Now all I need is to come up with the $250 for filing fees in NJ and actually file the paperwork.

Just a Note. . .
A note in the paypal field would likely do just fine, same with a note/letter in anything snail mailed. We often read the notes and share them amongst ourselves.
